The Advanced Leadership Course provided me with tremendous insight into the ways in which I operate as a leader, influencing the effectiveness of the groups I work with and, in turn, the effectiveness of the entire College. 

 

In higher education, many decisions are made by committee. Effective relationship management and management of self is essential. This course provided me with the framework to think about these dynamics with respect to both the Board of Trustees and the College's executive management team in a completely new way.

 

This new way of thinking has already begun changing the way in which the College operates in part because better relationships are being modeled by the College's leadership.
