Lauren Hammer, LCSW, MS, Founder and Principal - Hammer Leadership, Westfield, NJ
Lauren received her post-graduate training in Bowen Family Systems Theory from the Bowen Center for the Study of Family in Washington D.C. and the Princeton Family Center for Education in Princeton, New Jersey. She also received advanced training in leadership coaching from Leadership Coaching Inc. in Rochester, New York. Lauren earned an undergraduate degree from Rutgers, and two master’s degrees from New York University.
Since 2001, Lauren has introduced members of leadership teams, owners of family firms and professional firm partners to new ways of thinking about their leadership. Her focus includes the transfer of ownership, leadership succession, managing relationship challenges among family and team members and helping clients address workload and economic pressures, job security, budget constraints and conflict management.
Lauren teaches continuing education courses at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey’s School of Social Work. She previously worked at a large non-profit organization in New York City for six years. Lauren takes pride in her community based volunteer work revolving around homelessness and hunger. She resides in Westfield, New Jersey with her husband and two children.
