Too often, my experience with business books and seminars has brought exposure to interesting theories, but those theories never find their way into implementation. Not so with the Advanced Leadership Course. This course provides useful, innovative theories which are backed by hands-on practice under John Engels’ tutelage. With this practical approach, I was able to quickly implement useful changes into my relationships at work and at home. The course helped me gain a better understanding of self, introduced an array of helpful techniques to engage and mentor my colleagues and greatly enhanced my communication skills. Importantly, I notice that I’m much less anxious in difficult discussions; the course helped me develop a calm, purposeful presence in tense, uncomfortable situations. Perhaps the best measure of my regard for the merits of this course is that two of my senior executives are participating next year. I am a huge fan of John Engels and the Advanced Leadership Course.
